Jumbo Interactive, a Group 2 entity under AASB S2, has announced its commitment to reporting on climate-related risks and opportunities in its sustainability report starting from the financial year 2027. The company’s sustainability report will outline its governance approach to climate-related risks and opportunities, including scenario analysis and specified metrics such as scope 1 and 2 emissions in the first year of reporting and scope 3 emissions in the second year.
Material actions and disclosures
Jumbo has also highlighted its social responsibility initiatives, including compliance with the Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Prize Draw Operators. The company’s UK prize draw business, Dream Car Giveaways, has made changes to its business practices to ensure compliance with the Voluntary Code, which came into force on May 20, 2026.
Jumbo’s sustainability report will also cover its social risks, primarily related to gambling harm, and its commitment to responsible play principles. The company trains employees to identify signs of problem gambling among players and provides gambling assistance resources on its websites and during interactions with players.
Forward commitments
Jumbo has committed to disclosing its climate-related risks and opportunities in its sustainability report starting from FY27. The company’s first report will be included in its FY27 Annual Report.
Additionally, Jumbo has committed to maintaining a gender-diverse composition of its Board, in line with its commitment as a signatory to Hesta’s 40:40 Vision.
