Calix Limited has made significant strides in decarbonisation efforts during the financial year 2026 (FY26), focusing on reducing emissions and fostering industrial electrification. The company completed the construction of the Mid-Stream Lithium Demonstration Plant in Western Australia, which commenced commissioning and is expected to validate the use of low-carbon technologies in operations.

Calix has also progressed on its strategic partnerships, including an agreement with Ambuja Cements to develop a large-scale cement project in India using the Leilac technology. This project aims to reduce emissions and increase the use of renewable electricity in cement manufacturing. Additionally, Calix has secured funding from ARENA for the Zesty H-DRI Commercial Demonstration Plant, which is designed to demonstrate the benefits of energy flexibility and minimise hydrogen use for green iron production.
