Sigma Healthcare Limited has updated its governance and sustainability policies to align with the integration of the merged Group, focusing on ethical conduct, risk management, and supplier oversight. The company’s Risk, Compliance and Sustainability Committee (RCSC) has been strengthened to oversee climate-related risks and opportunities, reflecting the requirements of AASB S2.
Material actions and disclosures
The RCSC, chaired by Non-Executive Director Dr Chris Roberts, has reviewed and updated key policies, including the Code of Conduct, Whistleblower Policy, and Delegation of Authority Policy, to establish clear expectations and responsibilities for the combined Group. This update includes the explicit inclusion of climate oversight to align with the requirements of AASB S2.
Sigma continues to strengthen its approach to responsible business, with a focus on quality and regulatory compliance across its operations. The company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Sigma Healthcare Logistics Pty Ltd, operates a Quality Management System certified to ISO 9001:2015 and compliant with the Australian Code of Good Wholesaling Practice (GWP) for medicines in Schedules 2, 3, 4 and 8.
During FY26, Sigma also reviewed its Ethical Sourcing and Modern Slavery Policy to strengthen supplier due diligence and clarify expectations for suppliers. No incidents of modern slavery were identified during FY26.
Forward commitments
Sigma aims to progress the review of its Ethical Sourcing and Modern Slavery Policy to further strengthen supplier oversight and integrate these practices into the Group’s risk and strategic frameworks. The company also plans to extend its parental leave policy to the combined Group, representing an important step towards harmonising benefits across the organisation.
Looking ahead, Sigma will continue to review and align its People and Culture framework to establish a consistent approach to workforce governance, team member experience, and workplace culture across the combined Group.
These updates and initiatives reflect Sigma’s commitment to operating responsibly and supporting its people and communities as it integrates the merged Group.
