MinRes Enhances Governance and Diversity Initiatives

Mineral Resources Limited (MinRes) has updated its governance framework and diversity strategy, reflecting a commitment to ethical operations and inclusive practices. The company’s Board has six standing committees, each playing a vital role in examining specific aspects of MinRes’ operations and governance frameworks in greater detail, enhancing the Board’s oversight of the company.

Material actions and disclosures

MinRes has transitioned from the Gender Equity Strategy to a more inclusive Diversity Equity Strategy, broadening its scope to include all diversity initiatives across the business. The strategy is structured around four key focus areas, each delivering a specific set of initiatives designed to drive meaningful change. These areas include gender equity and inclusion, safe and respectful behaviours, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment, and leadership accountability and policy.

MinRes has also established diversity targets to drive measurable and meaningful progress, including year-on-year growth in female representation across the workforce, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representation within the organisation, and the number of women in frontline leadership roles. The company has delivered 39 of the 41 initiatives outlined in the Diversity Equity Strategy.

Forward commitments

MinRes has announced plans to review and roll out updated policies and procedures, including the Delegation of Authority, Conflicts of Interest, Securities Trading, and Related Party Transactions policies. The company is also committed to strengthening its business integrity frameworks and progressing implementation.
