Superloop Limited has completed its first climate-related risk assessment and established a baseline for its Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions, in line with AASB S2 requirements. The company also reduced packaging and equipment waste through the use of biodegradable and recycled materials, diverting 0.9 tonnes of end-of-life equipment from landfill.
Material Actions and Disclosures
Superloop has defined its organisational and operational boundaries to establish the basis for its Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions reporting. The company’s Scope 1 emissions total 76 tonnes CO2e, while Scope 2 emissions total 4,905 tonnes CO2e, giving a combined total of 4,981 tonnes CO2e for the year ended 30 June 2026.
The company’s assessment of climate-related risks and opportunities has been underpinned by updated governance arrangements at Board and Committee level. This work supports Superloop’s AASB S2 climate-related disclosures and has been subject to third-party limited assurance.
Superloop has also strengthened its governance framework, enhancing oversight of sustainability-related matters and maturing its approach to responsible business practices across the organisation. The company established a Sustainability Council to provide a forum for collaboration and coordination across business functions.
Forward Commitments
Superloop aims to report on its Scope 3 emissions in its next sustainability report, as it currently works towards calculating these metrics.
While the company does not currently have climate-related targets, climate-related matters are embedded into the Short-Term Incentive (STI) for members of the executive team.
Superloop will continue to enhance its approach to responsible business practices, including grievance and remediation processes, targeted procurement, and supplier engagement.
