Simonds Group has continued to enhance its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices in the fiscal year ending June 2026. The company has introduced digital site-material tracking to align materials ordered more closely with actual usage, reducing over-ordering and waste. Additionally, Simonds supported more than 25 community organizations, grassroots sporting clubs, and events across Australia.
Material Actions and Disclosures
Simonds maintained ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications, with independent audits conducted twice a year. The company also operated a formal Enterprise Risk Management framework, underpinned by a live risk register that tracks exposure, control effectiveness, likelihood, and impact, supported by targeted hazard identification and risk management.
Simonds broadened access to home ownership with more affordable options, including small-lot housing designs and Townhomes. The company also participated in RMIT’s SHINe program, contributing to industry-wide innovation in construction health, safety, and wellbeing.
Simonds raised $208k in FY26 for sick children through Chain Reaction, a charity initiative. The company conducted regular site inspections and strengthened its Board capability with the appointment of Michael Sukkar, adding depth across housing, finance, economic policy, and government.
