Pro Medicus has completed preparatory work for mandatory sustainability reporting under AASB S2, including establishing governance processes for climate-related risks and adopting new policies. The company focused on governance and board oversight, including climate-related risk management, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and the adoption of new policies and frameworks.
Material actions and disclosures
The company completed readiness work for reporting under AASB S2 Climate-related Disclosures, established an operational net zero commitment, and reviewed and updated the Corporate AI Policy. It also regularly undertook board performance reviews and evaluated the performance of committees. The company adopted a Gender Equality Action Plan and reviewed the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Policy, and reviewed the Corporate Governance Statement and updated the Board Charter.
Pro Medicus continued to monitor and address risks, including climate-related risks, through the Audit and Risk Committee. It also adopted an Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy and a Privacy Statement, and maintained open communication with shareholders and the investment community.
Forward commitments
Pro Medicus plans to publish its first AASB S2 Sustainability Report with the FY27 Annual Report, expected in August 2027. It will ensure compliance with the sustainability and climate-related disclosures in the Annual Report from 1 July 2026. The company will brief directors on AASB S2 obligations, director liability, and climate-related governance structure from 1 July 2026. It will incorporate climate-related performance metrics into executive remuneration from FY27.
Pro Medicus will review the Skills Matrix annually to ensure the skills remain relevant to the company. It will continue to monitor and address risks, including climate-related risks, through the Audit and Risk Committee. The company will maintain open communication with shareholders and the investment community and regularly review and update governance practices to align with emerging corporate governance developments.
