Premier Investments Reports FY26 Scope 1 and 2 Emissions, Outlines Climate Risk Assessment

Premier Investments Limited has reported its FY26 Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions, totalling 4,598 tCO2-e, and outlined its approach to assessing climate-related risks and opportunities. The Group’s Scope 1 emissions were 81 tCO2-e, while Scope 2 emissions, measured using the location-based method, amounted to 4,517 tCO2-e.

Material actions and disclosures

The Group has measured and disclosed its GHG emissions in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, adopting the operational control approach to define its organisational boundary. This approach aligns with the Group’s governance structure and operational decision-making processes. Scope 2 emissions were measured using the location-based method, reflecting the average emissions intensity of the electricity grids from which the Group purchases electricity.

The Group has also undertaken a structured assessment to identify climate-related risks and opportunities across its business activities, operations, and value chain. This assessment was informed by qualitative scenario analysis, internal expertise, and external climate-related information, considering both physical and transition risks under the NGFS Current Policies and Net Zero 2050 scenarios.

Physical risks identified include water stress and drought affecting agricultural regions supplying raw materials, particularly cotton and natural fibres, and extreme weather events affecting supplier operations and logistics networks. These risks are expected to occur over the short to long-term time horizons.

Forward commitments

The Group will continue to refine its GHG emissions measurement processes as data quality, system capability, and reporting maturity evolve, supporting the ongoing enhancement of climate-related disclosures in future reporting periods.

The Group expects its climate-related metrics, data collection processes, and any future climate-related targets to continue to evolve as its climate-related reporting maturity develops.
