Platina Resources Outlines Key ESG Commitments for FY2027

Platina Resources Limited has outlined its key environmental, social, and governance (ESG) commitments for the fiscal year 2027, focusing on corporate governance, workforce development, and financial stability.

Material actions and disclosures

The company has insured all of its directors and officers, providing them with contractual rights of access to the company’s books and records. This measure aims to protect the company’s leadership from potential liabilities and ensure transparency in governance practices.

Platina Resources has also established a Performance Rights Plan (PRP) and an Employee Option Incentive Plan (EOIP), both of which were approved by shareholders. These plans are designed to retain and motivate skilled personnel and reward executives and senior managers in a manner that aligns with the creation of shareholder wealth.

Furthermore, the company has a clear leadership transition plan, with Dr Paul Polito taking over as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer on July 20, 2026. Dr Polito brings over 30 years of experience in exploration, geoscience, mine development, and business development, which will be instrumental in guiding the company through its next phase of exploration.

Forward commitments

Platina Resources aims to maintain a strong financial foundation, with cash and cash equivalents of approximately $8.6 million at the end of FY2026. This financial stability will enable the company to continue its exploration activities and assess new opportunities without diluting its focus.

The company also plans to continue its exploration activities on existing mineral projects and identify new mineral project opportunities. Platina Resources will remain committed to converting geological opportunities into a disciplined pipeline of ranked targets, testing these targets efficiently, and moving the strongest prospects into follow-up drilling.

Platina Resources is committed to managing its compliance obligations appropriately, taking legal and technical advice to ensure it adheres to local regulatory requirements and maintains a social license to operate.

These commitments reflect Platina Resources’ dedication to sound corporate governance, workforce development, and financial stability, positioning the company for sustainable growth and exploration success in the coming fiscal year.
