Northern Minerals Reports on ESG and Financial Health

Northern Minerals Limited has released an ESG report detailing its environmental, social, and governance practices, including health and safety, climate change risks, and financial provisions for rehabilitation.

Material actions and disclosures

The Company has undertaken regional target-generation activities across its Western Australian and Northern Territory tenements, including analysis of satellite-based hyperspectral imagery, geomechanical modelling, and the use of artificial intelligence tools to support exploration targeting.

Northern Minerals recorded no Lost Time Injuries during the year, maintaining a Total Recordable Injury Frequency Rate (TRIFR) of 0.00 for most of the reporting period. A Restricted Work Injury involving a drilling contractor during the Jun 2026 quarter resulted in a year-end TRIFR of 2.35, calculated using the OSHA Small Operations methodology.

The Company has entered into a native title agreement with the Jaru People in relation to Browns Range, which includes financial and non-financial obligations. The agreement is important to the Company’s continued access to and activities at the Project.

The rehabilitation provision increased by $3,375,990 in the year, predominantly due to undertaking a revised estimate of costs for rehabilitating current disturbances, including post-closure monitoring costs and an increase in inflation rates used to calculate the present value of future cash flows.

Forward commitments

The Company plans to continue its regional target-generation activities and maintain its focus on health and safety, including the ongoing engagement with Traditional Owners for heritage surveys and compliance with cultural heritage and land-access requirements.

Northern Minerals also aims to secure sufficient funding to develop Browns Range through construction, commissioning, and commercial production, while managing expenditure and implementing cost reductions where necessary.

The Company will continue to monitor and address the risks associated with climate change and extreme weather, including the potential for delays, increased costs, and disruptions to operations.
