Netwealth has announced its FY2026 environmental, social, and governance (ESG) highlights, focusing on its continued commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and creating a positive social impact.
Material actions and disclosures
Netwealth has achieved zero market-based Scope 2 emissions by procuring 100% GreenPower renewable electricity across offices where it has operational control. The company’s Scope 1 emissions increased by 3.0 tCO₂e (27%) year-on-year, primarily due to a refrigerant top-up to the HVAC system in its Melbourne office.
Netwealth also reported on its social impact initiatives, including sponsoring 31,422 Australian primary school students through Banqer Primary and engaging with 741 schools during the 2025 school year. The company received $139,047 in contributions to the Netwealth Impact Fund during the reporting period, including $19,660 contributed by employees through workplace giving, fundraising, and GivingTuesday.
Forward commitments
Netwealth aims to achieve carbon neutrality for Scope 1, Scope 2, and upstream Scope 3 emissions by 2030, and net zero by 2050, measured against an FY2022 base year. The company will continue to measure and disclose its emissions.
Netwealth also plans to progress its preparation for mandatory climate-related financial disclosures under the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) S2.
