The report outlines the company’s approach to assessing and managing climate-related risks, including physical and transition risks, and the impact on its home lending portfolio.
Material actions and disclosures
MyState measures its Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions in accordance with the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard. For FY26, the company reported a total of 841 metric tonnes of CO2e, comprising 55 metric tonnes of Scope 1 emissions and 786 metric tonnes of Scope 2 emissions. The company also reported its Scope 3 financed emissions, which account for over 99% of its lending portfolio, at 110,408 metric tonnes of CO2e.
MyState has not set any quantitative or qualitative climate-related targets, nor are any required by law or regulation. The company’s approach to assessing climate-related risks and opportunities is embedded into its broader risk management framework, with no material opportunities identified as reasonably expected to affect the Group’s prospects.
