Megaport has established a diversity, equity, and inclusion working group tasked with recommending strategies and initiatives aimed at fostering a more inclusive workplace. The working group’s focus extends to areas such as recruitment, employee benefits and support, training, and workplace management, ensuring that everyone has the necessary tools to reach their full potential. Megaport is also focused on improving female representation in its workforce and is committed to reducing the gender pay gap.
As at 30 June 2026, the gender diversity of the company (excluding Latitude.sh and Extreme IX) was 66.4% male, 32.2% female, and 1.2% undeclared, an increase of 3.2 percentage points in female representation from the previous financial year. Including the acquired entities, the gender diversity as at 30 June 2026 was 26.6% female.
Megaport is strengthening its modern slavery compliance program by implementing a range of enhancements to further improve its governance, risk management, and due diligence processes. The company undertook a refreshed assessment of modern slavery risks across its supply chain with the support of an external consultant.
Forward commitments
Megaport will commence mandatory sustainability reporting for the financial year ending 30 June 2027. The company applied for relief from Group 1 sustainability reporting requirements for the financial year ended 30 June 2026, which was granted on 19 August 2026.
