Material actions and disclosures
FireFly has formalised monthly tracking of Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions data across site operations, with performance reported to the Board on a quarterly basis. The company has also commenced a scoping study to assess the feasibility of wind energy generation at the Green Bay Project, aimed at evaluating future energy supply options as power demand increases.
FireFly is committed to fostering an inclusive culture and has established measurable diversity objectives to be achieved by the end of FY26. These objectives provide a clear benchmark for accountability and continuous improvement.
FireFly has also conducted regular environmental inspections and compliance reviews at the Green Bay Project, supporting compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations. No reportable environmental incidents were recorded during FY26.
Forward commitments
FireFly plans to review the contractor management framework and introduce new weekly and monthly reporting requirements. The company aims to develop a new Field Level Risk Assessment (FLRA) card for frontline workers, adding weekly hazard identification and Welcome Back meetings during crew rotations.
FireFly is reviewing emergency response arrangements and appointing a Mine Rescue Lead and Health and Safety Lead to strengthen accountability across the contractor lifecycle.
FireFly is committed to reviewing and updating its Drug and Alcohol Policy to include random testing and implementing a new fatigue management schedule.
FireFly is also launching a purpose-built safety reporting dashboard through Lynx Global Intelligence, now the central repository for incidents, alongside a broader set of leading and lagging indicators.
