EVT Limited has announced near-term emissions reduction targets, aiming to reduce combined Scope 1 and 2 emissions by a specified percentage by 2030, validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
Material actions and disclosures
The Group calculates its Scope 1 and 2 emissions in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Reporting and Accounting Standard, enabling comparability with peers and alignment with its SBTi-validated emissions reduction targets. The Group’s transition plan includes the procurement of LGCs and REGOs, alongside energy efficiency measures and waste reduction initiatives.
The Group’s resilience assessment is subject to uncertainties including scenario uncertainty, policy and regulatory uncertainty, and modelling uncertainty. The Group will continue to evolve its approach to assessing climate resilience as climate science, market conditions, and regulatory frameworks evolve.
The Group’s scenario analysis considered six of its key operating regions, applying physical risk modelling across eleven hazard types and transition risk modelling across Australia, New Zealand, and Germany.
