Emeco has updated its governance structures, including the Audit and Risk Management Committee (ARMC) and ESG policies, to strengthen oversight and compliance. The ARMC, now comprised of three independent non-executive directors, oversees sustainability, environmental, social, and governance planning, activities, and reporting. The committee reviews the status of key risk exposures, new risks, and mitigation measures, ensuring the company adheres to Commonwealth and state environmental laws and regulations.
Material actions and disclosures
The company has adopted a code of conduct applicable to all employees, officers, and contractors, emphasizing ethical behavior and compliance with laws and regulations. It also has a whistleblower policy to encourage and protect those who report violations of the code of conduct or other misconduct. Additionally, Emeco maintains a risk management policy and framework to identify, assess, and prioritize risks, and it has a diversity policy to support a corporate culture of workplace diversity.
Forward commitments
At the end of FY26, the ARMC will review and update the risk and opportunity register and the risk management policy and framework. The Remuneration and Nomination Committee (RNC) will set measurable objectives for achieving gender diversity, and the company will review and update its diversity policy.
These updates reflect Emeco’s commitment to effective communication with shareholders and investors and adherence to ASX listing rules through its continuous disclosure policy.
