The company recognises the risks and opportunities presented by climate change and is developing an emissions reduction roadmap, tracking operational emissions, and conducting climate scenario analyses to understand material risks and resilience.
Material actions and disclosures
Calix’s safety, health, and environment (SHE) management system operates globally and is independently accredited under ISO 45001 in Victoria and Queensland. The company conducts internal and external audits annually to assess adherence to its SHE management system, with results reported to the Board, actions logged, and progress tracked.
Forward commitments
Calix aims to set emission reduction targets and timeframes based on credible methodology, preparing to adopt standards ahead of mandatory reporting requirements applicable to Group 3 entities from 1 July 2027. The company is also committed to fostering a fair, safe, and inclusive culture, reflecting its values and Code of Conduct.
These developments are part of Calix’s broader sustainability strategy, overseen by the Sustainability Committee, which helps the Board discharge its responsibilities relating to sustainability, including climate-related risk.
