Cadoux Limited Achieves Major Battery Recycling and Manufacturing Milestone

Cadoux Limited (ASX: CCM) has achieved a significant milestone in battery recycling and manufacturing through its participation in the European Union’s Horizon Europe funded SAFELOOP project. The company’s premiumHPA® material has been successfully integrated into full factory-scale lithium-ion battery production, marking an important step towards validating the use of recycled battery materials in commercial production.

Material actions and disclosures

The SAFELOOP consortium has delivered a 500 kg batch of battery-grade recycled graphite material to Turkish battery manufacturer Aspilsan Enerji for a pilot manufacturing campaign. In the September quarter 2026, 18650 size lithium-ion cells incorporating recycled materials and Cadoux’s premiumHPA® completed the full manufacturing process, including electrode preparation, coating, cell assembly and formation.

Cadoux’s participation in the SAFELOOP consortium supports the development of more sustainable battery supply chains and reduces reliance on newly mined raw materials. The company’s premiumHPA® material expertise is contributing to the advancement of safer, longer-lasting and more sustainable lithium-ion batteries for electric mobility.
