The company also continues to engage in extensive social surrounds consultations with Traditional Owners to address the social impacts of the project.
Material actions and disclosures
The company has completed an updated flora and fauna report, which includes surveys and mitigation measures for certain species added or removed from the priority species register. Additionally, the company is in the process of developing a Greenhouse Gas Management Report, which will include projected emissions and mitigation measures.
Work continues on the development of updated environmental management and monitoring plans, including revisions to water management, greenhouse gas modelling and management plans, alongside ongoing monitoring of ecological communities, weeds, and regional hydrological baseline data.
Forward commitments
Brockman Mining aims to complete the Greenhouse Gas Management Report and provide a Letter of Consent from Traditional Owner Groups to the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) following the completion of Social Surrounds Consultation.
The company also plans to continue its engagement with Traditional Owners to address any concerns raised during the consultation process and to guide the project’s environmental approval and monitoring plans.
