American Rare Earths Advances Environmental Baseline Studies and Permitting Activities

American Rare Earths Limited continues to focus on environmental stewardship and stakeholder engagement as it advances the Halleck Creek Project through feasibility-stage development. The Company has completed significant environmental baseline studies and permitting activities at the Cowboy State Mine to support future project development.

Material actions and disclosures

The Company has undertaken extensive environmental baseline studies and groundwater monitoring activities at the Cowboy State Mine (CSM) to support future permitting requirements. A 24-hour groundwater monitoring well pump test was completed, generating hydrological data necessary for the development of a three-dimensional groundwater model for the CSM. Groundwater sampling and monitoring activities continue to support mine planning and feasibility engineering.

Land rehabilitation and stewardship measures were also implemented following test mining activities in August 2025. This included backfilling, replacement of stockpiled topsoil, and preliminary seeding activities to restore disturbed areas. Temporary timber pads were constructed to support helicopter operations and drilling equipment, which were deconstructed and removed to reduce permanent infrastructure and ground disturbance.

A portion of the drilling program was conducted using helicopter-supported drill sites in areas where conventional ground access was not an option or would have resulted in greater surface disturbance. These measures demonstrate the Company’s commitment to responsible land management and progressive rehabilitation principles during project development activities.

American Rare Earths continues to engage with local communities, landholders, regulatory agencies, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to support the responsible development of the Halleck Creek Project. The Company partnered with the University of Wyoming School of Energy Resources to investigate potential end uses for tailings and other by-products associated with future rare earth production at Halleck Creek.

The Company’s environmental and sustainability considerations are integrated into project planning and decision-making processes. The Halleck Creek Project remains exposed to environmental and climate-related risks, including changes in environmental regulation, permitting requirements, and stakeholder expectations.

As of 30 June 2026, the Company had contracted capital expenditure commitments of A$535,895 relating to the purchase of a RCC unit for the planned pilot plant. The RCC unit is expected to qualify for reimbursement under the Wyoming Energy Authority grant program.
