Netwealth has outlined its commitment to sustainability, focusing on four key pillars: core business, people, governance, and positive impact. The company aims to foster diversity, talent, and wellbeing, and to build a workplace where people feel they belong and can do their best work.
Material actions and disclosures
Netwealth is strengthening its financial crime compliance in line with the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2024 and progressing preparation for mandatory climate-related financial disclosures under AASB S2 Climate-related Disclosures.
The company is also reinvesting operating leverage into governance, technology, and strategic investments to support future growth and platform scalability. This includes investments in platform capability, adviser and client experience, and technology-enabled productivity.
Netwealth is assessing its environmental impact and identifying opportunities to improve environmental outcomes, including preparation for mandatory climate-related financial disclosures.
Forward commitments
Netwealth aims to maintain strong governance frameworks that support transparent decision-making, uphold high standards of accountability, and reinforce the trust clients, shareholders, and regulators place in the company.
The company is also seeking to create a positive social impact through employee giving, volunteering, and partnerships that improve the financial futures and wellbeing of Australians.
Netwealth’s approach to sustainability is embedded into its performance frameworks and reflected in how the company works, communicates, and holds itself to account.
