IMDEX Enhances Climate Data Completeness and Reporting Processes

IMDEX is focusing on improving climate-related data completeness and reporting processes, with a particular emphasis on Scope 1 emissions from transport fuel and electricity consumption. The company has also implemented a solar upgrade at its Balcatta head office, reducing its GHG emissions.

Material Actions and Disclosures

IMDEX has included eight sites acquired during the reporting period, including operations associated with Datarock, ALT, ESA, and Krux Analytics. The company has also added electricity consumption data for 16 sites where data was previously unavailable and provided more comprehensive fuel consumption data across several operations. The FY26 greenhouse gas inventory has been prepared in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol: A Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard (2004) and the AASB S2.

The solar upgrade at Balcatta head office has generated approximately 340,971 kWh of renewable electricity annually, reducing grid electricity purchases by 16.5%. This upgrade saved approximately 7.4 tCO2-e expected from Scope 2 emissions in June 2026.

IMDEX has consolidated its Modern Slavery Statement across multiple jurisdictions to enhance transparency and consistency. The company has introduced a Human Rights Policy to formalise sustainability and climate objectives and has broadened its sustainability function to support the approach to managing human rights.

Forward Commitments

IMDEX will continue to develop climate improvements in data completeness, governance, data quality, and reporting processes in preparation for future disclosure requirements. The company will continue to strengthen its emissions data processes, governance arrangements, internal controls, and disclosure practices.

IMDEX will continue to monitor the system performance of the solar upgrade and assess opportunities to further optimise energy use. The company will continue to review and update its corporate policies and statements regularly to ensure their continued relevance and effectiveness.
